Le Touquet Paris-Plage

Also known as the « Pearl of the Opal Coast », the town owes its name to the landscape of dunes and pine trees.  The term « Paris-Plage» (Paris by the sea) is very attractive. During the 20th century, the hotel industry developed and the town became a coastal resort particularly  popular with the British.
